Here on display are the fabulous silo paintings done by Melbourne artist Cam Scale of a WWI Nurse, a modern Combat Medic and a Lighthorseman with his Steed. North Vic Trails is a Non Profit Community Group consisting of people from small towns. We are trying to help our rural regional towns suffering in the current climate especially after the drought and bushfires and now COVID 19 restrictions. Through promoting the silo art, other artworks and features for small town communities we hope to increase tourism to the northern regions of Victoria. So come visit us, stay for a bit and enjoy the many fabulous sights we have to offer.

Benalla Migrant Camp
Samaria Rd Hut 11, Benalla Airport, Benalla, Victoria 3672 Australia
Our exhibition is open on the first Sunday of the month 10 am - 3 pm and by appointment (via website email). Entry is by donation, and special tours for family groups are what we love doing. Visit our Facebook Page for upcoming events and details of open days - these do incur a special fee (unless you are unable to pay for financial hardship reasons). Visitors with a familial connection to the camp are encouraged to contact us and link with our project, to be informed about reunion events. Our exhibition is in one of the last remaining (and now State Heritage Listed) former camp accommodation huts. Hut 11 features photographs from migrant families, personal items and documents from their time at the camp 1949-1967. A most authentic, moving exhibition. And usually, there is cake!! We look forward to meeting you.
